Post-winter wipedown

Winter is finally starting to show signs of leaving (for a few months, at least), which means it's time to clean all that salt and sand from your car. The first clean after winter is always the toughest because the stuff that helped us stay safe on the roads is now deeply embedded into the carpets of your car. A quick vacuuming certainly helps, but you might need more than that. You might need things like an upholstery brush or a drill brush, paired with an enzymatic cleaner, to really get those floor mats and seats clean. You might also be surprised to see just how much dirt is in your seats too.

And then, of course, there's the outside. The quick and easy way is to just run through a automatic carwash. Unfortunately, the cloth carwashes work much better than the touchless ones, but with the guarantee that your paint will, at a minimum, have tons of swirl marks. The touchless car wash will leave you wondering why you just spent all that time and money to have a white haze over your car.

Avoid the long lines at the carwashes and drop your car off with us. Not only will it be cleaner that way, it'll also be safer than going through a carwash that hundreds of dirty cars have recently gone through.

If you previously had your car ceramic coated, you may notice that in some spots water is not beading like it should. This could be caused by a couple of different things. Usually it's a sign that the coating in that area has deteriorated. Remember, even if the coating is rated for 5 or even 10 years, that's assuming it's not being subjected to the harsh Midwest winters and all the chemicals that come with it. Another possibility is that the coating is simply "clogged". The easiest fix is to thoroughly wash the area with a soap specifically designed to rejuvenate ceramic/graphene coatings.
